Time for Tea!

When I read about Ava's Tea Party after finding the link via Pen N Paper Flowers, I knew it would be the perfect event to help launch CupKate's Event Design. A meaningful, happy day to celebrate the little spirits that we love so dearly. Using the artwork from the Ava's Tea Party website and many of the fabulous details from Pen N Paper Flowers' "Sunshine and Lemonade" party as my inspiration, below is my take on a beautiful tea at the park. You'll see many of my favorite personal touches including the Tutu Bench, cupcakes tied with ribbon, homemade chocolate tea cup, saucer and spoon as a party favor, personalized straw flags made with ribbon to remind everyone to drink with their "pinkies out", and best of all, the adorable children who celebrated with us. I hope you enjoy looking into our day as much as we enjoyed celebrating it!

    This is just "tealightful"! You did such a beautiful job, and I love all the sweet touches you designed with the cupcakes, teapots, and cups and saucers. I especially love the "cupcake bouquet" in the teapot!! Looks like all the guests had such fun! Truly a beautiful presentation...and, of course, it speaks to my heart since I am a "tea lover" and believe we can always find a need for a tea "partea"! :)

    LOVE this...I'm so glad you sent me the link and shared this with me! You did a beautiful job. I love that you did the little mustache for the little guy - he's adorable too. That wrought-iron chair was perfect and loved the whimsical touches throughout the party!! I'm especially thrilled that you took time to participate in Ava's Tea Party.     AAAADORABLE!!!
    I would love to know how you made the teacup "pedestools", the chocolate teacup favors, pinkies out ribbon and where can I find the pink frame on a pedestool also (the tea sign)? Sorry SO SO many questions, BUT you did a FABULOUS job : )

    Thank you for the comments!! I'm so excited to see positive feedback! Nichcole, I'll do a post on Monday (Hopefully! I'm very busy working on a special project...) about how I made some of the things you see. In fact, everything you see here was homemade, including the lollipops! I'll include links and directions soon. In the meantime, I purchased the pink fram at HomeGoods. : )

    Janina, I bought the drink dispenser at Marshall's. Which is a division of HomeGoods... I would imagine something similar is available in Australia, but I'm not exactly sure how you would find it. I love it though, so I hope you can come across one too!
